Absalom

Absalom was somewhat of a religious vampire. He was very much into the path of a vampire and was looking after The Anointed One after the Master was killed. He also planned to raise the Master once again. However his plans fell through when Buffy returned from LA. Absalom was going to use the blood from Willow, Giles, Jenny & Cordelia to rebuild The Master. Buffy came to the rescue, with Angel & Xander's help and set fire to Absalom.

Quote from When she was bad

Absalom, the religious vampire, is named after a character in the Bible, Absalom, who was the third son of King David. He turned against his father and challenged him for the kingdom of Israel. The story is told in the second book of Samuel (2 Samuel 13:20 - 19:10).
